This is an audio splitter for Scart cables. The Scart male-to-female adapter can be inserted between the television and the Scart cable for the VCR/DVD, etc., allowing the sound to be diverted to a phono cable, which in turn can be connected to your stereo system to output the sound from the television onto the stereo system speakers. The Scart adapter is male to female, and the phono cable has two male phono jacks.
